Introduction

This course is designed for instrumentation specialists involved in the definition & specification of instrumentation & control systems using the Smart Plant Instrumentations software. In this course, students learn how to define the instruments and related design aspects as per the specifications of project deliverables.

Duration

Main Course:  Five days

Main course with addendum: Five days main course + three day orientation to interfaces between instrumentation and process engineering will be provided. These interfaces include sizing of control valves, pressure relief valves, orifice plates, shutdown philosophy and development of Cause & Effect Diagrams.
